Populations

I accept all clientele however my practice with an enhanced focus on Performance Athletes, First Responders, Correctional Staff, and Health Care Workers (and their families!)

Areas of Focus

I welcome clients presenting with most mental health concerns, with an enhanced focus on suicide and self-injury, athletic performance, mood disorders, anxiety, sleep difficulties, workplace stress.

Interventions

I use a variety of evidence-based tools in my practice. My expertise is rooted in Solutions-Focused Brief Therapy (University of Toronto), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (Beck Institute, Unified CBT/University of Ottawa Psychiatry), and Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicide (CAMS-care)

Assessments

I am trained and competent in conducting Bio-Psycho-Social-Cultural assessments, Capacity Assessments, the Montreal Cognitive Assessment, Interpersonal Theory of Suicide-based assessment, and the Collaborative Assessment and Management of Suicide (CAMS-care).
